Welcome to Tromsø in Northern Norway and Elements Arctic Camp

Get closer to nature with Elements Arctic Camp - an Eco Camp were you really get "back to nature". We provide private multi-day tours at our secluded camp on the beautiful island of Rebbenesøya, only a 2 hour scenic trip from Tromsø.

You will stay in a yurt, enjoy local food, go kayaking our speciality all year-round, and be able to do other actvities like hiking, fishing, and wintertime, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in a pristine area.
From our secluded camp, located at the seashore, you will experience a spectacular Arctic coast, by land or at sea, at all seasons. Our two yurts, each housing four people, are like modern nomadic tents, are rustic, very comfortable and have a special atmosphere.

As our camp has no road access, you will be surrounded by the natural sound of nature. Moreover, our camp is in a remote area without light pollution. This makes it the perfect place for star gazing and experiencing the magical Northern Lights dancing in the night sky during wintertime.

Our closest neighbour are white-tailed sea eagles, otters, seals and many other bird species.

If you want spectacular Arctic experiences – the Northern Lights, the Midnight Sun and the contrasting light and weather – you are welcome to visit this special place, which is well off the beaten track yet close to the urban Arctic delights of Tromsø.

We utilize the natural resources as far as possible as solar energy and windpower. We either collect rainwater or fetch water from a nearby stream. Recycling and reusing are in high focus and we also aim to donate funds for local socially beneficial purposes. As a natural part of our tours, we also pick up marine litter we find on the tours.

Cultural and landscape conservation area

Our camp is situated adjacent to the North Kvaløya and Rebbenesøya cultural and landscape conservation area. Consequently, it has a rich and unique birdlife and wildlife as well as a rich cultural heritage.
